Hammy. Even in the morning.

I snapped this shot this morning while getting breakfast ready. Mini-Rube saw me take out the camera and right away said, "cheeeesh!"

I got the fever!

Baby Fever from Korey David that is!! Oh man, is he a cutie! I seriously could have held him all day, such a sweet baby boy. Only a day old and already has had so much lovin'!

We were anxious to see this little guy, we watched his momma carry him around in her belly for nine months, it was exciting to see him finally! It was well worth the wait! Just from visiting him today we can tell he is going to be laid back like his daddy. He was happy as could be, slept so peacefully - and all the while we were talking and laughing, and Kate, Kyle and Carm making a ruckus didn't stir him one bit!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Aguilera, you two make some beautiful babies! We love you!

Park Plesantries

A few of our nieces and nephews came over to spend some time with us, and since Mother Nature gave us some beautiful weather, I made them turn off the TV and announced we were going for a walk. Hearing groans from the older kiddos and a few rolls of the eyes, I didn't care - the day was super nice so off we went...

On our way!

Hey there!

Lexi and CJ

Carm wanted to try it out!

Go, Julie, Go!

Good times, good times.

Turns out, they had a really good time and we killed an hour or so with some great exercise and fresh air. Alexis commented she was glad we went, said the day was so pretty. Of course the second we came back, everyone took to the computer, TV and coloring books and all was well. Turkey dogs topped off the evening nicely, yum :)

We had, like, a totally awesome time.

My sister threw her hubbster, Junior, a most awesome 80's birthday party. She really went all out, rented a recreation center, decorated so cute and had the best 8o's music you could ask for. Junior looked like he was having a great 30th Birthday, definitely a special one to remember!

Everyone really got into their costumes, we saw some HILARIOUS get up's!! I recycled my outfit from the 80's shin-dig Kel threw a few years ago, and Ruben and Beans got thrown together outfits that I think came out quite nicely!

Happy 30th, Old Man Vu! We love you mucho!

Carmen's outfit I threw together with various parts of her wardrobe. (On our way to the party, little miss started coughing which turned into gagging, then threw-up and completely soiled her onesie! Barf-O-Rama! We turned around, went back home and I made her another one quick fast!)

Carmen wanted to get down and dance!

Dancing the night away!

Having some good fun 80's style!

Pretty Pumpkins

Last week we made our way down to Central Market. And although the layout of the store is kinda funky, I love that place! They had pumpkins out front which we were happy to see, something about this time of year just makes us feel good :)

Angie Pants Rox!!

Our fabulous God Daughter and Niece turned 14 today! I delivered a cookie cake to her school this morning, hope it's tasty! We want to wish Angela (or "Angie Pants" as Little Carlos so affectionately came up with - and it stuck!) a wonderful birthday! She is absolutely beautiful and has THE best personality - quirky with a great sense of humor! She's smart as a whip and a rock star on the soccer field!

We love you, Angela. You are awesome and we are so proud of the person you have grown to be... I can't believe that you were once so shy and little. Your Tio and I will always, always remember when you were around 3 0r 4 with your pencil and note pad always in hand - ahhhh! That was THE cutest, you would never leave home without it. Happy Birthday, Angie Pants!

PS-Can't wait to hit the stores to look at Quince dresses :)
