Hand-me-downs rock! This slide and cozy coupe car were so loved for several years by the Rodriguez kids. Arielle, Elijah and Julianna all spent much time using these. Thank you so, so much you guys! Carmen LOVES her "new" stuff!

Cous Cous is Good Good.

Last night for dinner I decided to try a new side dish, cous cous. I had tasted it before and liked it but had never made it. Man, it is the easiest thing to make ever. So yummy, too.

Here is the one I picked up, this brand had several flavors.

I tossed some chicken breast and veggies in a ziploc with a little bit of olive oil and lemon pepper.

Ready to hit the oven, wrapped it up nice and tight.

Cous Cous is finished.

My Kiddo and I - Week 7

Sappy Valentine's Day.

Las Sucias headed out for a lovely, love filled, girls morning out on V-Day. Ahhhh, it was great. We had a most delicious breakfast at BW, then headed to see the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic."
Good times, good times, ladies!

Because she's just silly.

Beans fought her nap the other day. She was crying when I told her it was nap time, and she looked at me like "yeah right" when I told her to lay down, close her eyes and rest. I gave her a kiss and said have a good nap. A few minutes later she stopped the whining business and I heard her playing for a bit, then silence. I go in to check on her and this is what I see:

Carm not in her bed, not behind the door, not in the closet, and the window was closed...

Ah, yes - why wouldn't you want to curl up under your bed to take a snooze?!

My silly little one. She slept there for a few hours and woke up happy and rested :)

A few weeks ago we celebrated our nephew, Diego's, birthday. My SIL had a few fun activities planned and my CJ had a fun time with one in particular, sheck it out...

My Kiddo and I - Week 5

Sew much fun.

Sound the trumpets! Alicia has ventured into the world of sewing! Seemed a bit complicated. Baby steps necessary. Ok, maybe it's not that hard, it's just something new and I have to keep at it. My Mother (aka the expert at all things sewing) has generously given me my first tutorial (thank you, mom!) and we did some very basic steps. Very. Basic. BUT, I have to start somewhere and get more confident to try things out by myself.... eventually.

PS-thanks again HO, jen, and kel! The bizzos gave me this machine for my birthday - great gift, gals! *clapping*
