A stupendous time had by all

Our trip began early Monday morning, Beans was a little out of it when we woke her up at 6am! We set out to the airport anxious to get our little excursion started. Beans knocked out for a little nap while we waited for our delayed plane.

We saw a lot in a short amount of time. We did a whole lot of walking, and we did a whole lot of driving around the surrounding area of Philly. Pretty much just checking things out. The people are different, the culture is different, but, not anything we cannot handle. Anyhoozle, great visit and we saw many interesting things!

Here is a nice little neighborhood in Center City. (That is what they call their downtown.)

Beans Gets Political

Sick of this getting sick business...

Rube and I have had a dry hacking cough for the past week. Sooo not attractive and sooo annoying! CJ seems to be all good in the 'hood - no coughing or sore throat for her, whew! Get out and stay out you darn germs! I need to start popping some daily vitamins, stat!

Road Trips Rock!

We ventured over to New Mexico for a few days, had a splendid time. I was happy that Beans did well on the road, woo! (On the way back home we stopped at the nicest rest stop I have ever seen - squeaky clean restrooms and a great playground made for a nice stretch-the-legs stop! )

A great fourth of July weekend, but I totally did not take many pictures while we were in Albuquerque, booo. Guess I will have to hold all those sweet memories in my heart! It was good seeing the family, miss you already. xoxoxo
