A Saturday Post?! Whaaa?!

I don't think I have ever posted on a Saturday, but go with the flow here, change is good!

I've been thinking a lot about our move, or lack there of, and I think it's starting to give me indegestion, bleh. I need some action, people! Packing has been going fine, it's looking quite bare in here... kinda gives me the creeps. *shudder* Hahaha, jk! The other morning though, I said, "Good morning, Ruben. Good morning, Carmen. Good morning, moving boxes that are in my way." Darn the underwriters who are taking for-eva. Eh, it could be worse though. It could ALWAYS be worse. *stepping off my soap box*

Anyhoozle, along with the usual Saturday stuff, we went to a birthday party this afternoon for our niece, Teresa. She's 4 today, I don't know if it was lack of a nap or what, but she wasn't too festive. Hope she's not getting sick or something, poor mija.

Good Saturday, good Saturday guys. I'm perfectly happy to report a run of the mill day, those are the best kind.

Big Day for Beans

Today baby Beans had a visit to Dr. Fernandez for her 9 month check-up. He gave her a clean bill of health and commented that she has quite a big noggin - gasp! Hahaha! Just kidding, he made no comment about her noggin whatsoever - that was just a little "Big Head Rodriguez's" humor. Little miss is very healthy and I am so thankful. 2 shots given by the nurse mustled a short cry from CJ, I scooped her up and the tears we done and done. Whew!

After a good lunch (remember, no meat today!) and a long nap for the little one, we made our way to St. Pat's for Ash Wednesday.

It's 9:30 and Carmen J is tuckered out for the night. I'm not too far behind... That's a rarity for me this early, so I'm taking full advantage of it, ahhhh.

Carmen Thursday

Carmen Jules is nine months old! This little girl makes us laugh every day - Ruben and I swear that CJ has a funny, quirky sense of humor. Yes, I know, sounds so cliche like a lot of first time parents will say about their babies... but seriously! Carmen really does seem to joke around! It's just so awesome to see our baby's personality begin to grow. It's crazy, she's like a little person! She's a smiling, nosy (or just super curious some might say), high-five giving bundle of energy and I looooove her :)

Carmen sported her cute Cowboys suit yesterday to cheer on her Dad's favorite football team. Thank you, Auntie Evelyn for the outfit!
