Last Sunday as we were getting ready to leave for Church, CJ demonstrated her "joking" skills. As you may or may not know - her comfort, her wubby, her everything that she absolutely has to have is her blankey. (Which she has always pronounced it "theethee.") So anyhoo, here is the conversation between Ruben and CJ:
Ruben: Carmen, let's go. Are you bringing your blankey with you to Church?
Carmen: No. *puts her "theethee" on the couch and starts to walk towards the door to leave. (And with conviction if I might add)*
Rube: Ok, then vamanos.
Carmen: SIIIIKE! *starts laughing and goes back to get her blanket*
Ruben and I bust out laughing - not realizing that she knew how to use the word "sike" appropriately.
Oh Beans, you never cease to surprise us with your crazy self!
Ruben: Carmen, let's go. Are you bringing your blankey with you to Church?
